Indonesia Unite

So yeah, another bombs exploded in Indonesia, Jakarta exactly. The incident happened just yesterday morning, before 8 am WIB, at Ritz Carlton and JW Marriot (it's the second time for Marriot). This was a very bad and heart-rending incident. People died, got hurted, shocked, and was disappointed.

Disappointed? It may sounds kinda irrelevant but yeah, it happened. Manchester United, as planned in their Asia Tour, will be playing against Indonesia all-star on July 20th 2009 in Indonesia, and will be staying at the Ritz Carlton. And because of this incident, they canceled it because of, of course, security issue. A lot of people in Indonesia are their die-hard fans so of course they became disappointed. MU are still willing to play the game against Indonesia all-star, but in Malaysia. But of course, not all people are rich enough to fly to Malaysia, so most of them want to return their tickets. Some of them even gathered at the Ritz Hotel, holding the super big welcome banner which formerly would be used to welcome MU. How sad..

and SBY, our dearest Mr. President gave his speech yesterday, in response to the terrorists' attack. He spilled about things that are considered as top secrets, work of the national intelligents. He said he found out about the activities of the terrorists, training shooting with his picture as a target, their plan to make a revolution if SBY become a president for the 2nd period, and other things like taking over the KPU. Listening to his speech was so heart-touching. Obviously, myself cried. Too many things for him to worry about...

and, also this incident burned nationalism in each Indonesian twitterer. we (of course, I'm included!) tweet about indonesia unite, and people we keep tweeting about it, so it became a trending topic ;p #indonesiaunite FTW!!! I really love the positive energy we are bringing in twitter. We all stated that we are not afraid of the terrorists and that bombs cannot separate us, Indonesians. And I kinda know that it's true :)
